The cardboard box it was shipped in was completely falling apart when it was left at my door. The manufacturer needs to wrap the container with real tape, not cheap paper tape. Fortunately the MegaMat was not damaged in the shipping

So far so good

My wife bought a cheap mat, which promptly broke. After looking around for something better. I decided yo purchase the Floortex Cleartex MegaMat. This mat has been bought to protect our new deep and thick pile carpet and a 8 pound per square foot pad, ( 3/4"" with 1/4 "" = 1"" total thickness). First use turned out well, this is a home office which is in use about four to six hours most days between three people. Mat is strong, dimpled surface, not clear, with beveled edge.
