Replaced Gas Logs Works great. Remote works through the screen that was in the gas log unit. We made a mistake and bought a NON vented gas fireplace. Terrible smell but did get hot. Now no smell and this one has a setting to crack like a real fire place

I love the realistic crackling sound. The only con is the loud whirring fan sound when the heater is turned on.
