Wonderful Mower
This mower is both powerful and quiet. I noticed that if you use side discharge on the right, you can cut tall grass very short without having to deal with clumps. For full disclosure, as you mow the lawn there would be some clumps of glass shot off to the right, but if you cut your lawn in a clockwise manner, you can simply go over these clumps in your next pass. This is a huge improvement over the very expensive mower this replaced (i.e., a Honda) that couldn't come close to cutting down a large volume of grass without producing ugly clumps of grass. Also, I love how electric-powered machinery typically requires very few repairs relative to gas-powered machinery (*knock on wood*). It's a nice bonus the mower is very quiet compared to a traditional gas-powered mower. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.
No more gas can in my garage!
Arrived on 5-29-21. I have replaced most of my gasoline powered equipment with green battery equipment. Decided to purchase the new Power Smart electric mower and replace my gasoline powered lawn mower. Before my first use... arrived quickly, easy assembly, lite weight, folded adjustable handle extended far enough to fit my 6 3 frame, battery fully charged in less than 2 hours with futuristic looking design. Pros: Easy to start (push button), lite weight made it easy to push, quieter than a gas mower, mowed 4,000 ft on one charge, I have a nice thick lawn and the mower was able to cut the grass (one week's growth). No gas or oil! Futuristic appearance had neighbors asking about the mower. Cons: The button has no light to indicate when the power is on which can be a bit confusing. 5 stars... No more cans of gas in my garage!
Poorly designed Battery lock system
A lightweight and relatively quiet electric mower. However, the battery has to be removed for recharging and the battery locking mechanism does not keep it in place. The smallest bump or too sharp of a turn jars it loose and the engine shuts down. I have contacted the company twice by email in the last month with no response. I have tried calling but they never pick up. A poorly designed product with no customer care.
