Questionable safety

I see no difference in the firmness in the two sides of the mattress even though there is a sticker that sticker that indicates 'infant' side. The sticker fell off as soon as I opened the plastic so who knows if it's even on the right side. There are washing instructions for a mattress cover but no mattress cover.
