So far..., impressed......

12:42 PM 5/19/2015 My first 2-handed "Switch" Rod. After much research (Even communicated with the CEO of Shu-Fly, Skip Storch personally - Thank You Skip!) and anticipation, so far, I'm happy with my purchase. Even though the shipping was kind of slow via FedEx and I was quite anxious about the delivery. My purchase came with a nice nylon 4-section rod sock and hard storage/carrying case with a hand strap and adjustable shoulder strap. 2 - 2nd hand/fighting butts; a small 1-1/2 inch and a 4-inch. The rod's cork handle is made of high quality cork. The grip feels good. I haven't "baptized" it yet..... But so far I'm impressed with it. It appears to be well made, straight ferrules, zero flaws, and high quality. It feels sweet. I like the action, and I can't believe how incredibly light it feels for an 8-weight. It feels and looks comparable to rods 3 and 4 times the price that I've researched and held. Only wished it were manufactured in the USA. Can't wait to fish with it. seedogg, Big Island of Hawai'i
