If you spend much time objectively studying nutritional supplements what you learn is that there is very little qualitative, objective, measurable, trustable research beyond the consensus that we vitally need certain vitamins and minerals for our health. The rare few studies of supplemental vitamins are invariable of mega doses of a single vitamin, with mixed and conflicting results, never any studies of the synergetic effects of multiple vitamins. There is even less consensus on whether "natural" vitamins are better than "synthetic." Information about herbal supplements is even more unverifiable want-it-to-be-true hearsay. My (young) doctor rolls his eyes and says I can get all that I need from a healthy diet. With dietary calorie requirement levels going ever down with age, and I am seriously trying to lose some weight, that is just not going to happen. I am 70 years old, alive and in better health than most of my contemporaries. For much of my life I took drug store aka "synthetic" vitamins of one brand or another. Did they contribute to or detract from my current health? Not a clue. Concerned about what can I do to delay and/or mitigate the ravages of of age I have become more than a bit obsessive-compulsive about supplements. I am operating on the personal assumption that "natural" is better. What ever my personal skepticism about herbal supplements, what have I got to lose? Naturelo has far and away the best line of "natural" multi-vitamin supplements. Their mix and dosage is closer to what I think is about right than most. Four of these Whole Food Multi-vitamins is a lot of pills and comparatively expensive. How much would you pay if you knew it would make your old age less miserable and degrading?? I wish I had known half a century ago what I think I know now. FYI passed on the best of my research to my children, very little interest. Tried to pass it on to my grand-daughter / buy her a subscription; she thinks I am an irrelevant old foo

These whole food vitamins are the first and only supplement I have been able to find on the market that do NOT upset my stomach, cause acid reflux and yield beneficial nutritional and energetic responses for myself and those in my household. These are supplements that the human digestive system can recognize and assimilate into the body unlike synthetic vitamins, binders, fillers, coatings and artificial colors used in many competitive products.
