Inspires a beginner to sew.

I purchased this for my (13 yr old) granddaughter. she has a brand new sewing machine from last yr barely touched, and I believe this should inspire her. The book is very attractive, gives clear, detailed instructions, and inspires creativity, which she has a great deal of! There are options here for everyone to find at least a couple of ideas for any taste.

Great Beginners Choice

I borrowed this book from the library first, then went and bought it. As a beginner, this book is perfect. It gives very specific details, and everything is clear. If you are not new to sewing, the informational part may be boring, but you might enjoy making some of these skirts. The book guides you through making your own pattern based on your body size and then using that pattern to make the dress. Very helpful. Very fun.

I purchased this book so I could make my own skirts. The easy to follow directions make it easy breezy. I am a beginner and I would recommend this book to others
