Delicious, tender and moist.

I cooked this chicken in an InstaPot , after making a paste of spices to put under the skin. Using the sauté setting for 15 minutes and turning on all sides, just to braise it. Then I took out the chicken, to place the cooking tray under it, so the meat doesn't touch the pot. Add 1 cup of chicken broth to the pot, and even added vegetables. Then pressure cooked for 25 minutes. Let it have a natural release, which takes about 20 minutes. It was so tender and juicy. My husband loved it!

I roasted this chicken in place of a turkey one Thanksgiving, and I have been recommending this Perdue chicken ever since. It's the best tasting chicken meat I have tasted in a very long time. Dark meat or white meat is tasty and moist. I don't bother buying any other brand any more.

When I received it ,the use by date or freeze by date was either scratched off intentionally or inadvertently, so my hope is that it's good; with that, I had to hurry up and freeze it because I wasn't ready to cook it .so I really don't know if it's good or not Unfortunately
