did not buy for a sled, but put down metal edgeing you buy for putting around landscape, bent it into a circle, put screws in it to fit shape of sled so sled fits ontop of eding, put on ground, pit a birdbath heater in and it works great on the ground as a birdbath for all wildlife even in the snow! it's about 4" high. love it! and i thought of the idea all by myself! lol!
