This Boosts the Signal

We got this to boost our internet signal for my husband to work at home during this Covid 19 crisis. We had some set-up issues, but Gryphon customer service worked with me to fix the issues. Now that this is up and working, my husband has a strong signal in the room above our garage (modem is in the basement).

Genius internet filter, even when not on WiFi.

I'm so thankful for this Gryphon filter, especially with having 2 boys who want to be “like all the other kids”. Having gryphon connected to my 10 yr old's VR (Oculus Quest) is SUCH a relief as the VR device allows access to everything online... and I can see none of it. (One problem we had was not being able to connect his neighbor friends' VR to our Gryphon WiFi all at the same time. It seemed like it could only handle one VR at a time.) The complementary HomeBound Gryphon app in AMAZING as my 14 yr old son goes out and about using his cellular data on the iPhone. This allows Gryphon filtering even when he is not on our WiFi or just on cell service. Genius! Gryphon took out inappropriate YouTube videos on the Roku also. my son noticed and asked me “what did you do?!?!” ;) Genius internet filter, even when not on WiFi.

Great partner to your gryphon router.

It is easy to set up through the gryphon app in order to supplement the range of your gryphon router. The lan ports on the back allow you to add wired devices to your network while also boosting the rage of your wifi. The mesh network feature is seamless without any hiccups moving from router to node. The network has been rock solid with the only downtime coming from automatic updates from the company to keep the device's firmware current. The firewall and antivirus through eset that protects all devices including smarthome devices like video doorbells or smart speakers that may provide easy entry points into your home network by hackers gives added peace of mind.
