Truly Waterproof

Let almost a quart of water puddled on the bed protector with a paper towel between it and the bed. Forgot it was there until the next day after work. The bed protector was wet, but the paper towel was still crisp and dry. I'm enjoying the peace of mind that these bed protectors (I've bought three) offer with life's spills and the lovable kids in my life that are still potty training. Woo-hoo waterproof!

Comfortable fit, like sleeping on a cloud

I have to say I was very surprised at how nice this product fit. The size is Queen, but it fits my Full size mattress with no problem. There is a little overlap on the sides, but the top and the bottom fit perfectly. Despite the size difference this pad does not ride up, either. It is fully quilted with a padded top, and the construction is solid with no loose threads. This item is in the fitted sheet style. It's quite comfortable to sleep on, either too hot nor too cold. The material is smooth. It's not terry cloth but a soft, somewhat silky cotton. The padding is thick and generous. I have not tested this product to see if it's waterproof. When I first received this mattress pad I washed it in warm water and dried it on the cool cycle in the dryer. I have sensitive skin and sometimes clothing and bedding right out of the package or off the hanger is too hard and scratchy. Laundering this pad went fine with no incident. I used a dryer sheet. There were no loose threads and the pad obviously did not shrink. This mattress pad is supposed to provide allergy and dust mite protection. I have noticed that I don't wake up in the morning with a stuffed up nose like I used to, so that is proof that feature is working. I believe this pad would stand up to regular washings.

Waterproof mattress protector

Much better than previous one I had purchased. This one is very comfortable and doesn't feel hot at night. Doesn't feel crinkly. Haven't spilled anything on it yet so not sure of waterproof ability but at least its comfortable, doesn't move around, and doesn't crinkle when tossing and turning.
