WE Games Deluxe Walnut Wood Chess Board – Handmade in Spain, 22 in.

I ordered this chessboard using the standard shipping option. The chessboard arrived within 3 days via UPS, it was well packaged and placed at my front door . Before ordering, I went to other web sites and found this board to be a good value. I looked at the cheaper veneer wood boards on other web sites. Most are not 100% wood. Most are only 1/4 inch thick vs ½ inch for this one, which makes them susceptible to warping. This chessboard is sturdy, well crafted and ... wait for it...made in the good ol' US of A. The squares fit tightly without any gaps. I used old English lemon oil and now the chessboard looks even more spiffy. I placed the board on a flat surface to check for wobbles and found none. For price, craftsmanship and value, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
