Really liked that this came already assembled. The guide for reeling the hose onto the reel itself works vey well. I do wish the handle would extend a little higher as even at 5'6" I have to bend a bit to wheel it around. Fortunately I should not have to do that much. So far it lives on my patio so I have not had a reason to use the stakes. I did have to lean on this unit to keep it from moving around when winding up the hose but think that will get better once the hose quits kinking so much.
