the rib hooks solve two issues with smoking ribs, 1. by hanging the slab or partial slab vertically it allows you to fit more meat in the basket. 2. by hanging the slab with the larger ribs higher up in the basket it allows the smaller ribs to cook more slowly. it has enhanced my enjoyment of using my Char Broil smoker.

Rib Hooks

They're great. I cooked two racks of baby back pork ribs. I had the Big Easy on low, 4 half racks on ribs hanging in the basket, and had them seasoned. After 45 minutes I covered them in foil and let them finish out for 2 hrs. Yum Yum. The rib hooks worked perfect holding the ribs in place.

WELL WORTH IT.

I already had a standard oil type fryer and wanted a cleaner,faster fryer. I did 2 turkeys this year for Thanksgiving and we all liked the "OIL LESS" turkey better. I was done fast and was just right. Really glad I bought the fryer and I would deffinatly do it again. I did a couple racks of BABYBACK RIBS a week ago with the rib hooks and they wewre awesome as well. Really a good combination.
