Husqvarna Powerbox 20 Inch Bar Protective Storage Carrying Box Chainsaw Case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After buying the Husqvarna 440 for hobby-farm work (storm cleanup, limbing, and firewood), the Husqvarna Powerbox turned out to be the upgrade I didn't know I needed. The 440 is already a user-friendly saw with features like Smart Start and LowVib for easier handling during longer cutting sessions—so having a case that keeps it protected and ready to roll is a big win. The Powerbox feels built for real use, with double-wall HDPE construction and a secure “Husky leash” retention system that prevents the saw from sliding around in the truck or on the ATV. Even better, it's designed to store the saw and the essentials (scrench, filing tools, oil, manual), so everything I need for the 440 lives in one place instead of scattered around the shop. The included 18"–20" scabbard is a great safety/cleanliness touch, and the whole case is stackable, which helps keep my garage organized. Bottom line: the Powerbox is durable, practical, and makes owning the Husqvarna 440 easier by keeping the saw and accessories protected, organized, and truly grab-and-go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this box for my chainsaw and it came flat. It might have helped if I had put the plastic hinge pins before assembling the ends, but they did flex and go in fine. A great feature is that there is a filler piece if you choose not to put a chainsaw in the box, and want to put a circular saw, supplies, or other things in it -- so it is a great investment for storage of all types. The top handle folds flat and there is a small velcro piece inside for securing the saw handle. The scabbard is very sturdy and locked into the box when transporting the saw -- unlike a competitor's hard-molded case. There is room for a few additional supplies. It would be handy if the filler piece for the scabbard slot could be clipped within the box to keep things together, but not a big deal. I believe that this will last a very long time, will help my chainsaws last a long time, and will be an excellent investment.
