Can't wait to try

I can't wait to try these in my 2nd grade class! I hope they will be a good alternative to hand raising during independent work time. Also I like the yellow cards that say that they have a question but can continue to work. I'm hoping that this will promote independent problem solving strategies without always asking for help

Super Useful

My students won't raise their hands to let me know they need help, but they are very comfortable flipping the card to yellow or red and waiting for me to come. These are the sturdiest flip cards I've seen of this kind and the price is very reasonable.

Excellent Product

I teach 3rd grade and one of my pet peeves is being constantly interrupted when I'm in the middle of helping a student. So I got these flip charts to help organize the chaos and they have been working really well. The students keep them on their desks and when they need assistance they flip to yellow or red indicating that they need help. Two things to keep in mind are: 1. Be very clear that these are not to be played with! Luckily they are durable enough and most of the time can be put back together. 2. I use the red card as a very last resort. I tell my students to only go to red if they have exhausted all possible options. Other than that the students love them and they have really helped my classroom management.
