This easel is lovely...

I bought the whitewash & it's not really whitewash. It can easily be painted to whatever color you want. I would recommend for the quality vs price.

Perfect Easel for Wedding Sign

This easel is to be used for a heavy wooden Welcome sign for a formal wedding. It is beautifully made, looks hand-carved with a sheaf of wheat (perfect for a wedding as wheat represents abundance, life, fertility and self-sacrifice). The carving at the very top, also looks like a heart. The description did not state this detail, but the easel 'shelf' is adjustable to different heights and has a knob you turn to hold the position. Our sign is quite large and fits very well on this easel, with the carving still showing at the top. The only concern is that the color stated ""white"" or 'whitewash' and it is neither, it is a light yellow. We are painting it a distressed white for our use, but it is pretty, it just isn't white. Came well packaged, huge box, no damage to box or contents. I'm very pleased and my daughter loves it for her wedding sign. I would definitely buy this again!
