Success to God, what does this mean?

I am blown away by this topic and its relevance to my now. Just when I think "oh I am not doing that" - I need to ponder again and be reassured that God has got it. Sharla Fritz does a great job helping us look anew at our lives by focusing on 8 Biblical characters. Even if you think you have studied one a lot take time to see from this new perspective. What does God's idea of success look like? Is it the same for everyone? It can look different. One thing is the same. Sharla writes "Faith in an almighty God turns our lives around. The world tells us to believe in ourselves but what brings true success is an unwavering trust in the Lord of heaven and earth." Take time to study or grab some friends and work through it together you won't be disappointed!

Measure Your Success by God's Standards

Sharla has carefully done an amazing amount of research that will make biblical characters we already know and love come alive even more as we dig deeper into their stories. Sharla walks the reader through understanding the no-so-pretty sides of these people, while also pointing us to God's grace, love, and forgiveness. God can use our faults in spite of ourselves and draw people closer to Him through the process. Though we fail God, He never fails us. In fact, He uses us in the midst of our failures. To Him be the glory!
