Overcoming Ghost of Christmas Past

I ordered this pan to cook my first turkey in 35 years (the last one, overstuffed, exploded in the oven!). The result was perfect and I attribute much of my success to this beautiful, sturdy stainless steel roasting pan and its accompanying rack. On-line research had convinced me that the strength and the integrity of the roasting pan under heat were of paramount importance to a well-cooked bird, and this pan producted a perfectly brown, tender roast. Cleanup of both the tnonstick rack and the pan itself was surprisingly easy. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great Roasting Pan

This and the 14 inch stainless steel roasting pans are the best roasting pans I've ever owned. Industrial strength (multi-ply) ensures even roasting and no warping. I roast at very high temperatures for 10 minutes then reduce heat for the rest of the roasting time. Hint: Don't use the rack, instead use a couple of carrots and stalks of celery to keep meat off the bottom of the pan...makes a huge difference in flavor and very easy cleanup. Love these pans!

Great product!

I have had this roaster for a couple of years now, and while I don't use it very often, it's wonderful when I do. The stainless steel eliminates health concerns, and it's large and heavy enough to handle anything I may want to roast in it. The inward curved handles are out of the way and fit well in my oven.
