Did not work very well - I understand that this was an inexpensive phone - Volume did not adjust - I guess you get what you pay for - I did buy another type phone with headset that works well - Live and learn.

It stinks

This phone is a disappointment. The voice sound quality is bad, compared to other phones in my house. The speakerphone amplification is feeble, difficult to hear. A technical support representative says this phone is not intended for use with an answering machine, but the product description does not mention this limitation. I'm going to return it... or at least, try to return it. DO NOT BUY!
