Pleased with these tires

I've had the P265/16 size Open Country A/T III on my Tahoe for 6 months. They replace the OEM Goodyear Wranglers. Since they have a much thicker and thus stiffer tread than the Wranglers, they do ride a little bit harder, especially when cold, but not at all unpleasant. The highway bumps and pavement ridges are more noticeable. Once the tread heats up and softens, they ride much more smoothly. I've read complaints about the noise. There is a slight, barely noticeable whine at lower speeds but virtually no whine is observed at highway speeds. If the radio is playing, even at low volume, I don't hear any whine or road noise. Those who complain about rough ride or loud road noise may be running the T, or truck, series of this tire which has a slightly deeper tread and stiffer sidewalls. All in all, I am quite pleased with these tires and would buy them again

load E open country at3

I have purchased 275/60r20 load e open country at3 tires about 4yrs ago. I have 124,000km on them with zero holes, or problems. Just down to 5/32 so looking at replacing. No issues, great on road and light off road. Snow conditions were excellent up to about 80,000km. Ice conditions are 3 out of 5 compared to dedicated snow tires. I will be purchasing another set. Very impressed with these tires.

Great AT Tire With Long Life

LT 265/70/18 on a Tundra and this is the first set I ever felt comfortable going over 50K. Use is mostly highway driving but took them on 2 cross country trips to Wyoming. They have seen their share of offroad and snow. No issues other than getting a little louder at 40K. I am currently at 53K miles and will replace them in a few months at my yearly state inspection which will be about 57K miles. Will buy again.
