The Demeyer line of cookware is beyond belief. With the lid on I can put a solid frozen 5 X 5 piece frozen spaghetti sauce w/two meatballs on the lowest heat and have them not only defrosted but heated and ready serve in 30 minutes. No boiling of the stock (like what a microwaved would do giving it's hour long defrost cycle)! When I teach my grandchildren took cook I trust they will be using my hand down Demeyer Pots and pans.
