Very sturdy
This is a nice (super sturdy--it has a heavy weighted base) contemporary floor lamp. The actual color is a darker gold, more like antique brass.

Poor quality for the price
I wanted to love this lamp, and it would be attractive, but the piece that holds the shade in place is bent, causing the white shade to sit at an angle, which looks ridiculous. Also, the paint job is shoddy, with brush marks and a poor spray job. I expect better for the price. I've been trying to work with hayneedle to get the bent part replaced, but so far it's a very frustrating experience, as a different person replies to every communication, and they don't seem to read the previous conversations.
