Halifax Single Cylinder Square Deadbolt -158 Series with Smartkey - Boxpack

This product was so easy to install. It fit the same holes in the door as my previous deadbolt and handle which was great. But We were able to keep the same key and do it our self—didn't have to take it to the locksmith.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first smart key lock. To install the lock was simple. I simply took out the old lock and followed the instructions that are included. I'm sure if you needed you could find a video on line to help you. One of the best parts of this lock set is the smart key. I really thought this was going to be intimidating, but it was far from that. It comes with instructions on how to rekey the lock if you need to. It also has troubleshooting instructions incase you have issues. I of course had to test it out, so I went and got a new key (the instruction paper tells what key to ask for at the store). I followed the directions and got it to rekey the new key on the 1st try. This is a great feature to have incase you loose your keys, or kid loses it, drops it in the snow. I recommend this lock set.
