This sword is heady duty plastic, no bending, the handle is wrapped in gold binding for a sturdy grip. I charged it as directed, double tapped the end of the handle and VOILA! It glows a bright orange color and I'm stoked. My 12 year old grandson will love this for his Christmas present as he is a huge manga fan - Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia. It also comes with a sword display rest, again in sculpted heavy duty resin as well as a white faux leather belt and sword holster. This is worth every penny.
