A great way to eliminate power down situations!

For single corded equipment, this might be your best choice for redundant power protection. Though it's not inexpensive, it provides a means for two power sources, which are likely two identical UPSes. (10) NEMA 5-15R outlets allow connections for a large assortment of switches, firewalls, video servers, etc. Many people don't think about what they would do in the event a UPS needs to be powered down for replacement or (swollen) battery module replacement. Without an ATS, you will have no choice but to turn off all of your critical loads, for as long as the reconnection process requires. Don't be cheap – this is a great solution to eliminate that ugly situation!

works!

We ran this in a customer test environment and it did exactly what it said it did. The initial power source was shut off and this seamlessly transferred to the backup without notice!
