I recently had a massive power surge that burned out an old Radio Shack protector I had. I purchased this as a replacement. Turned out I needed new wiring, but when they restored the power, it created another surge and this did a great job! Feel safe with this surge protector. Comparable pricing and feel more assured than buying off name brands.
