Great for everyday use

This item is great for everyday use, not just traveling. It could be improved by adding 2 more USB ports. The Walmart system could be improved with a few changes. Send the Rate and Review request after the customer has picked up the item instead of 2 days before. This is confusing, is it here or not? Also, send the Late Notice on or before the estimated arrival date. This is a terrific service that you provide and I will use it in the future.

Use this primarily for travel, like the flat plug. Original one bought 2016 -- still working fine (used daily as an extension in Kid's dorm room.) An interim travel replacement failed in less than a year's usage. Went back to trusty original w/ it's Surge Protector.

Exactly what I needed for travel!

More and more hotels have one grounded outlet located at the base of a lamp next to the bed, and the travel surge protector I have used in the past would not fit given the direction of the outlet plug. As a result, I had to move the nightstand, unplug the lamp and/or the clock, plug in my surge protector, then have to reverse all of that when I checked out. Now, the Protect It! 3-Outlet Travel-Size Surge Protector 18-in. Cord 1050 Joules 2-USB Charging Ports allows me to easily use the one outlet at the base of the lamp without any additional effort. It works great and has all I need - multiple outlets and USB charging ports for my phone and iPad. The unit also stores nicely, so it is compact to pack in my carry on luggage.
