This is definitely the most powerful flashlight that I've ever owned and I'm 69 years old. It uses Black %26 Decker 20 volt batteries and I have three of those so this made a lot of sense for me to purchase. I also like the fact that it is tall enough that you can put your entire hand on the handle. Most of the other flashlights (that used B%26D batteries) that I saw were so short that you could only place a few fingers on their handles. I also like the fact that it has a USB port that I can use to charge my phone if my electricity goes out. I first thought that this flashlight was pretty pricey, but when I compared it to other similar flashlights I thought that it was worth a few extra bucks for the features that it has. I also purchased a 3-year Walmart protection plan by Allstate extended warranty. It was only $9 extra and that gives me peace of mind that if anything goes wrong in a total of a 4-year period, that I am covered. I highly recommend this flashlight.
