The new Oster Easy-to-Use Blender with 5-Speeds is perfect for chunk-free smoothies and shakes, fresh vegetable soups, salsa, and more. The 5 speed settings and the easy-to-use control panel give you plenty of control. The easy-clean blending jar is dishwasher safe and shatterproof, so it can go right from the dishwasher to blending icy cold drinks. Crush ice, pulverize, and chop with precision using the stainless steel Crush Pro 4 blade, and rely on the Duralast All-Metal Drive, with the power to blend up to 10,000 smoothies. All parts except for the blender base are dishwasher safe. Place sealing ring in bottom basket of dishwasher. Use a damp, soft sponge with mild detergent to clean the outside of the blender base.

Not as powerful as advertised.
I bought this 2 days ago. I have made smoothies twice. The blender is not powerful enough to mix all ingredients without assistance. I had to take off the top and stir the smoothies so that all ingredients would be mixed in. As I added additional ingredients, they just sat on the top while the blender was blending. This included when I added additional juice. I thought the speed would pull down the juice and fruit. I was wrong.

Not what I expected from an Oster!
Bought this while rushing to prepare for the quarantine and didn't want to spend too much, and quickly learned you get what you pay for. While it manages to make smoothies and mixed drinks, it takes a lot of effort to do so, and then no matter what you do there's always a mess!! Without a "pour" edge on the pitcher, you are guaranteed to spill whatever you've blended. It also doesn't make nearly enough or mix in a way that helps incorporate any supplement I might add. Bottom line I am extremely disappointed and should have taken the time to research and spend a little more money. PS:I rarely review products good or bad, but after a few weeks using this product, I decided I needed to let you know.
