Excellent range and trust me when I say it'll hurt if you get hit with this thing. This teeter todders the line of being too powerful for the young kids but for young teens and maybe a few years younger it will be fantastic. Excellent construction and durability seems to be really good so far. If you like this gun then there's a brand new one on the market from a different brand however it's at the exact same price point and I have to say it's probably a little more power for your buck however younger kids probably won't find it hard to use so I would recommend this other gun to only 13 and up on top of the fact it really fires the rounds of the barrel up to 125 ft which is 25 ft More than this gun. Simple yet slightly heavy gun and fun. It sure does have some power, however, would be nice if it came with an extra reloading clip even without darts.
