You think small box, small ramp, no, it expands as you easily put together and with only 2 tools, can tighten everything. Took 5 minutes to assemble and I'm extremely slow & old. Love the STEEL construction and simple instructions. The aluminum ones are nice and lighter; however, I prefer this model made in STEEL, because it's stronger and the "black" coat looks great behind my old man mini-van. However, I do put an amazing full-throttle endure on it. Love this motorcycle carrier, Huntsville AL.
