With an extra-large, dishwasher-safe 7-cup Boroclass glass jar, you can enjoy smoothies, salsas, and more without the hassle of extra cleanup. This Oster blender has an extra-wide, 6-point, 3-inch stainless steel blade to easily crush, blend, whip, chop, or grind even the toughest ingredients. With 3 speed settings and an easy-to-use speed dial, you'll be blending up your favorite creations in no time. The 2-oz. filler cap features precise measurement markings to make blending a breeze. Includes the Oster 3-Year Satisfaction Guarantee. To clean blender jar, combine warm water and 1 - 2 drops of liquid dishwashing detergent in blender jar and run on lowest speed for 10 - 15 seconds. I bought this a few months ago to replace my old one when I dropped the jar and broke it. Could not find the same one to replace it, so I bought this one. I loved my old one, had 8 speeds, worked great for smoothies, soups e.t.c. This one only has 3 speeds, its much bigger and heavier. It does not chop the banana or the strawberries very good, always lumps of banana in my drink. I've tried leaving it longer on higher speed still had lumps. I will keep it, but would not buy again.
