Very Good Battery Box

I recently bought a new RV that came with a battery box that had a lid that snapped on. I lost the lid on the first trip with the RV. I bought this CAMCO battery box at Walmart.com (It is NOT available in Walmart stores; I looked in many of them!). Installation was simple and it has a good strap with a buckle to secure the lid. I'm very pleased.

I bought a Walmart deep cycle battery to power a motor for my canoe. 24DC fit perfect. Nice case for a little more than 5 bucks on clearance. This case would be much better for someone installing it into a boat on a more permanent basic. I take my battery in and out each trip, Placing the battery in and out was much easier with the battries original handle. The box has no handle. I used the strap to secure the bottom without the top. Still offers protection and I can use the battery handle. Gave it 5 stars because of the price I payed, the fit was perfect, and it seems like it would work really well for a more permanent type installation. I would look for another solution for applications where battery is taken in and out of the boat.
