If you want an easy install, these struts are it.

These are snap on struts and fit my 2004 Focus perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased. I watched a few videos of how to install these but I didn't have to watch anything...these snap on. You don't have to go though the process of monkeying with the clips that hold them in place. And they work great. My trunk can once again be lifted with one finger and closed without slamming.
