Johnsonville Fully Cooked Pork Breakfast Sausage Links, 9.6oz (12 count), Refrigerated

I'm very happy Walmart is carrying these precooked breakfast links. I like these over all other brands, and the only thing better, would be if they also carried the maple flavored precooked breakfast links. I think the price us high, but I do appreciate that they're precooked. I wrap 4 up in dry-wax sheets (or paper towels), place on a plate and microwave for 30 seconds. Again, for a precooked sausage, I think these are great. The texture would probably be better cooked from raw state, but that's not something I want to do anymore.

These sausages are so easy to prepare. A couple of drops of water in the bottom of a microwave safe dish, cover with a folded paper towel and cook for one and a half to 2 minutes. The taste is fresh, moist, but a nice texture for the chew. Two sausages gives a great smoky flavor and is hearty enough to be feeling for one person. I freeze them in packages of two to pull down when needed. That way I don't feel pressed to use them up quickly. I also cut them in small pieces to add a very nice flavor to homemade vegetable beef soup. They make a nice compliment to any breakfast and also are great by themselves on biscuits. Once you try these, you will be pleasantly surprised how great they are and worth the price. Walmart has the best price in my neighborhood.
