Overall, I'm pleased with this product. Bought it to switch between 3 Macs and 1 PC, all with DVI video cards connected to a 1920x1200 monitor. There was some challenge when getting a Razer gaming keyboard to switch ports, but luckily I had an older one that could be configured to not require the Synapse software. The KVM handles switching fine, and attached macOS and Windows 10 machines don't react negatively to being switched away from. Things became more complicated this year when I updated to a non-DVI 2560x1440 monitor (an NEC PA272W). Preferring to continue using a hardware KVM to the monitor's built-in option, I was able to successfully use a Gefen DVI to Mini DisplayPort adapter between the KVM and monitor, and am happy to report the KVM handles the increased resolution over its dual-link DVI just fine. The Gefen adapter occasionally needs some toggling to get it to work, but 95% of the time it handles switching with no issue. A more problematic recent change was when I attempted using a newer Corsair K95 keyboard in the managed KVM port. When I tried turning off keyboard emulation on that port, the hotkeys no longer functioned, and I could not turn keyboard emulation back on again (all input, including num-lock, simply passed through the device). I'm not sure if the keyboard itself caused an issue or it was a fault that developed in the KVM. Luckily it was within warranty, and TrippLite sent another replacement that was properly configured. With the replacement I'm restricting my gaming keyboard to the unmanaged USB ports, and using an X-Keys KVM stick programmed with macros to keyboard-switch the KVM.
