SP12160 Carmagnolle Atmospheric Deep Sea Diving Suit Robot Cardboard Cutout Stand up

Cardboard cutout of a Deep Sea Diver in an early 1900s diving suit standing 78x34 inches. The suit is designed to protect the wearer from the harsh diving envirnment. This particular suit was designed by the Carmagnolle brothers in 1882 in France and it weighed 830 pounds. It never worked properly and the joints were never fully waterproof.
