mounting issues

Mounting bolts look and work nothing like the depictions in the instruction sheet. It is quite unclear how to use them and I'm not sure right now that I have used them correctly. They also appear to be designed wrong, they have a cone shape clearly intended to fit into a similarly shaped recess in the bowl, however the holes in my Cadet 3 units have flat mounting surfaces. Believe me, simple and unambiguous hardware would be best. A bolt, 2 rubber washers, and a wing nut designed to clamp against a flat surface is all that is necessary.
