Medium action NightHawk combo Great for Walleye
I bought this medium action rod combo based on other reviews from walleye fisherman and don't regret it. The rod is sensitive enough to feel perch take your lure but strong enough to reel in the big ones. I hooked a nice 7 lb. Eye on it and the reel handled the fish nicely. The drag worked fine and the pole didn't wavier when the fish made its big runs. I'll post a photo of the eye I caught for your review. The pole over all has performed great and I've pulled quite a few fish out of the ice like perch, crappie, and mostly walleye.
