Meclizine Anti-Nausea, Vertigo Motion Sickness,Dizziness Chewable Tabs 25mg 1000ct - comes in 12.5 or 25mg
Meclizine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Meclizine is used to treat or prevent nausea, vomiting, and dizziness caused by motion sickness. It is also used to treat symptoms of vertigo (dizziness or spinning sensation) caused by disease that affects your inner ear.
Cold or allergy medicine, sedatives, narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures, depression or anxiety can add to sleepiness caused by meclizine.
You should not use meclizine if you are allergic to it.
FDA pregnancy category B. Meclizine is not expected to harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. This drug is registered for use in humans only.
Meclizine uses for your Pet:
The most common use for meclizine is to reduce symptoms associated with motion sickness in dogs or in cats.
Meclizine can also be used to help with nausea unrelated to motion sickness, such as that related to inner ear vestibular disease.
