These are very light weight shorts. I don't like women's tight fitting and flimsy shorts for very day wear. These are well made shorts and great for quick workouts and chores around the house. The price is great, so I can buy several pairs e and always have a clean pair on hand.

Nice fit, but that elastic...

Fit as advertised, good cotton knit. Roomy fit. Wide elastic at the waist is also the casing for the drawstring, and the rougher elastic ends up uncomfortable on the skin...covered elastic would be better. If you like to tuck in your shirt, then maybe it's not a problem.
