The book demonstrates the understanding and knowledge of Ghanaian Radiographers about CPD. Radiographers need to develop personally and progress professionally within the profession so as to remain competent and capable of providing improved quality services to patients. They also need to be encouraged to engage in active CPD activities in order to maintain and improve the existing skills and knowledge. Although evidence showed that radiographers undertake CPD activities such as workshops, conferences, seminars and attending short courses, these activities are referred to as attendance based activities. This book has covered key CPD activities or elements of maintaining and updating professional expertise appropriate to the professional roles.
