Great choice for the environment!

It isn't as bright as white light, and that is exactly why I purchased it! I have spent the good part of 4 years turning my yard into a wildlife habitat, and animals are less sensitive to red light than white light. Many communities are switching to red streetlights because they are safer for birds, bats, and insects. It would be amazing if everyone took just one small step like this to help the planet.

We like this light a lot. It's a soft reddish/pink color. Fits in regular light sockets. Most importantly the color doesn't stimulate the brain to “wake up” so my kids can flip on the bedside lights to read and I can rest knowing that the light won't keep them up, even if a good book does.
