Much less fan noise than all other fan-driven heaters in the house with a surprising amount of heat coming from such a small unit. It is only 400 watts but very efficient, thus gives more heat than you would expect. I would not recommend it to heat a very large room (greater than 15x15 feet) especially if a) temperatures outside are less than 40F, and b) the space is poorly insulated. I am using it in a well-insulated, 10x10 office and it works very well.

Great little ceramic heater for personel use

This is a personal heater. It has 400 watts. You have to keep that in perspective. A typical ceramic box type heater uses 1500 watts. That's almost 4 times the wattage of this heater. I got this heater mainly for the bathroom when I'm cold in the morning. In a small bathroom at about 3 feet away from you this has been great. You feel the heat in about 2 seconds.(nice toasty air heat) It's really small. I pick it up like picking up a ball. It works great and I love it. I don't think it would be good to heat up a hole room unless the room is super small. It is not real quiet. Also, the on illumination light is bright in a dark room. For my use this is great!

Being a Senior Citizen, I like a little extra heat when I shower. This little heater does a great job of giving me the little boost I require while sitting in a secure space away from any water. The outer shell of this unit stays cool to the touch and provides ample heat is a short amount of time. I would have preferred the control button on top of the unit, but all is well with its functioning and appearance. I would highly recommend this little heater!
