The size and shape is no longer that new (originally released in the 90s, we think) -- the taste remains reliable and today seems to be not as salty as in the past (ignoring the chips at the very bottom of the bag - sometimes salty). Scoops are -- and were when initially introduced -- great with many foods because they can be used to scoop food (sturdier than other "scoopy" chips).
