Sumitomo Encounter AT is an all-season all-terrain tire made for SUVs, CUVs, and light trucks. It features a non-directional, 5-rib tread design that optimizes ride stability and protects against irregular wear. With deep circumferential grooves, it boosts wet grip performance and provides superior wear life, while optimized tread pattern stabilizes handling and steering response for a smooth, quiet ride. Sumitomo’s variable-width shoulder lugs are designed to evacuate rocks, sand and other debris for superior off-road grip. 3D wave sipes located on the shoulder blocks enhances traction and performance in snow, mud and other soft surfaces. The tire bears 3-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol and is approved to be used in the winter weather conditions. 60,000 Mile treadlife warranty.
