The Arroyo Grand Sport 2 features Anti-eccentric wear belts on outer shoulders increase tread contact area when braking for uniform pressure to avoid eccentric wear. The Grand Sport 2's compound and the tread pattern firmly grip the dry, wet and winter weather road surfaces with the wide tread grooves and fine siping detail. Four wide circumferential grooves effectively prevent hydroplaning by evacuating excess water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This brings a superb year round safe driving experience as the tire is capable of firmly gripping the road surface in all conditions. A quiet driving experience is provided by the silent pitch sequence and closed slanted tread grooves. It is also backed by a 55,000 mile treadlife warranty.
