weatherproof for 6 months?

Almost all the construction defect lawsuits we are involved in are about deteriorating lineset tape. What good is 6 months of weather/uv resistance? I don't know when the "6 months" was added to the description but it was definitely not there earlier. There is no reference to 6 months on the technical data sheet either. The bottom line is, this tape is not uv or weather resistant to any degree that actually matters.
