The 3M™ Littmann® Cardiology III™ Stethoscope, one of the most recognized stethoscopes in the profession, features tunable diaphragms on both sides to deliver outstanding acoustic performance, diagnostic versatility, and convenience for treating adult and pediatric patients. The pediatric side of the chestpiece converts to a traditional open bell by removing the tunable diaphragm and replacing it with the included non-chill bell sleeve.

Trusty stethoscope

I bought this during nursing school 12 years ago. I use it every day, then cram it in my backpack. It retains it's shape very well, and has perfectly clear sound. It still looks brand new! I wipe it with alcohol between patients and caviwipes at the beginning of every shift. My peers often ask to use my stethoscope because it's better than theirs. I have a maroon color tubing and it's color hasn't faded at all. I haven't needed to replace the diaphragm or the ear buds. I love this thing! Highly recommend it! (I work in a pediatric hospital, and have used my stethoscope on every unit- critical care, cardiac, hem/onc, ED, med/surf, OR, etc. I've also worked adult critical care)

Great product

I bought this a month ago and I love it but I wish that there was a way where you can adjust the volume based on how low or high you want to hear body sounds

excellent function - issue with light colour tubin

Agree 100% with other reviews - excellent function. No complaints. Just a heads up for choosing colours...I selected the turquoise/smoke combo (loved it) but the light colour tube has become stained/discoloured to the point that a brand new item now looks dirty and worn. Have followed all care advice and am VERY careful with it, not sure what the marks are but seem to be manufacturing rather than anything I've done. Happy that it is replaced under warranty but sad I lose my pretty blue. This is worth noting if you are fussy about colours - if I'd known that I would need to replace with darker tubing I would have got stainless steel ear/chest piece colour!
